Application
This method is suitable for testing wastewater with COD in the range of (0-2000) mg/L, and can be customized according to the actual requirements of users. COD online automatic analyzer is mainly used for real-time monitoring of municipal domestic sewage, waste (sewage) water discharged by enterprises, surface water and other total nitrogen concentration online automatic monitoring. According to the complex and changeable working conditions on site, it is suggested to select and distribute the water sample collection/distribution system containing suspended solids to meet the needs of different industries and customers. This method is mainly used for on-line automatic monitoring of COD concentration of waste (pollution) water discharge point source, surface water, etc.
General Instruction
CODCr-6330 is an Chemical Oxygen Demand online automatic analyzer which can be applied to the detection of COD in various water bodies such as rivers and lakes, industrial sewage, chemical wastewater, domestic sewage and sewage treatment plants. This is second generation Analyzer based on the requirement of environmental protection new standard, with many good features like low reagent consumption, size miniaturization, reagent less quantitative, remote quality control, remote diagnosis maintenance. Through a large number of operating practices we
adopt stable water sample collection/distribution system to provide a better application solution. Working principle: Sample Water, potassium dichromate digestion solution, silver sulfate solution (join silver sulfate as the catalyst can be more effective in oxidation fat straight-chain compounds), and a mixture of sulfuric acid heated to 165 ℃, dichromate ion oxide
solution changes the color of the organic matter of analyzer to detect the color changes, and converted to COD value output to the change. The amount of dichromate ions consumed is equivalent to the amount of oxidizable organic matter. Reducing inorganic substances in the water sample, such as nitrites, sulfides, and ferrous ions, which could react with potassium dichromate and it will affect the measurement results;the amount of potassium dichromate consumed is recorded in the measurement results, which making the measurement results higher. The interference of chloride ions in water samples can be eliminated by adding mercury sulfate, because chloride ions can form very stable mercury chloride with mercury ions.
